I’m an Australian composer, currently based between Berlin, Germany and Huddersfield, UK. I’m also an occasional writer and editor on music, in a variety of media ranging from the highly specialist (theses, journals, etc) to the highly informal (this blog).
I started this blog as a way of presenting mainly personal responses to issues arising from music. For the purposes of this blog, I’m interested in the chain of thought provoked by a piece or a performance. Accordingly, thoughts posted may be highly subjective and occasionally half-formed.
I hope very much that some of what I post here might provoke some sort of ongoing discussion – any and all are welcome to comment.
